Ek class ki khidki se road ki side dikhta tha, us class ko hum Doon class kehte the. Waha aksar kuch bache khelte the, gaadiyan aati thi aur chali jaati. Main bas waha akela khidki ki taraf baith kar dekha karta tha.

Ab woh din chale gaye hai lekin tab lagta tha ki kab niklunga yaha se aur kab jaunga bahar. Pata nahi aaj kyun achanak mujhe woh din yaad aaya aur woh mere akele baith kar sochne ki adat bhi.

Through the lanes

He put his head down
A little tired
But its still early
And there is lot to do

But on closing his eyes
He travels to a time
And experiences
A memory from the past

The days when
He dreamt and believed
And laughed and lived

Suddenly he opens his eyes
And stare at the screen
And the memories
Once again fade away

For Daily Prompt

Your local electronics store has just started selling time machines, anywhere doors, and invisibility helmets. You can only afford one. Which of these do you buy, and why?

This has to be one of my favorite  prompts ever. Now I have talked a lot about past and time machines, so I am linking the earlier post here.
I am also interested in buying invisibility helmets. 😀

Radio – Photo Post

Well, I today got a recommendation of writing stories along with my photographs and I have done it in the past but I will try to do it again. Miss Book Thief is the one who suggested this to me today. Stories from next time.

This photograph is kind of special to me due to a simple reason – it reminds me of the past. Radios were pretty cool. Pardon me for the poor quality. Clicked from a mobile phone camera while I was travelling and stopped here for Chai(Tea). I should mention that the Chai was awesome. 😉

Last Memory

DSC_2006

I have a faded memory of her.We on the beach, she is walking on the sea shore, waves gently kissing her feet.I can’t see her clearly as the sun shines in my eyes but I am happy because she is happy.I have tears in my eyes because this is my only memory of her,it gives me joy and pain. This is the only relation I have with her now,my last memory. All I know is that she is no more and happiness is gone along with her.

P.S – After reading this some people might have some questions for me,so bring them all and I’ll answer. 🙂

Night – a short poem.

He lay awake
In the middle of the night
Going over the mistakes of the past.

Looking back.

Days of past
They go so fast
You think you didn’t change
But when you see back
You look at
A newer version of yourself.

I am not so fond of past, maybe it doesn’t really have much to offer to me, but then again it doesn’t have got to do much with the future.
It’s time to look at the road ahead and go on living.
Sudden realization- Why am I so inspirational in this post?

Daily Prompt.

A key to past.

Golden Key

You’ve been given a key that can open one building, room, locker, or box to which you don’t normally have access. How do you use it, and why?

Maybe the archives from the  past that are secret and are kept locked away.Imagine knowing things that almost nobody knows.
That’s it for me, what about you?

Hey Kid!

Good Tidings
Present-day you meets 10-years-ago you for coffee. Share with your younger self the most challenging thing, the most rewarding thing, and the most fun thing they have to look forward to.

Hey,kid look at you!Thinks without speaking loudly was I always this small even back then?Listen we don’t have much time but you’ve got to really listen and consider what I’m telling you.The younger me is amazed and wants explanations for the thousand questions.Yes I know I was always this curious.
The time is running out but I’m telling you that no matter what always work hard,do your best at school, grab every opportunity you see around the corner, participate in every thing.School is important probably the most important thing and yes never give up.
Looks at watch.Okay I must go now.Bye.

This is the only thing I’d tell if I was to meet my younger self, there isn’t so much of wisdom but I’d correct the mistakes I made.
