Quotes #1

The other day I talked about how I haven’t posted in a while and then I get asked to participate in this Quote challenge which is a brilliant way of sharing knowledge. Mira of To Wear A Rainbow selected me to do this one. Her work leaves me amazed ( every single time), you should definetely check her blog which I am sure will take some time ( you won’t stop reading so easily). Thank you very much. 🙂

P.S – I just read this and I am wondering when will I write like this.

Rules-

1. Thank the blogger, who nominated you.

2. Share one new quote on three consecutive days on your blog. They can be from anywhere, anyone, or anything that inspires you… Which means, it can be from yourself, too!

3. On each of the three days, nominate 3 more bloggers to carry on this mission .

I am nominating the following three bloggers:

https://fawksteretworld.wordpress.com/
https://salorocks.wordpress.com/

“Numbing the pain is not the same as healing it,” Master Sameed said. “When the anesthesia wears off, the pain is still there.”
-The Forty Rules of Love by Elif Şafak.

Now this book is very interesting and I just love how it is written. I have many quotes from this book to share and I’ll keep doing that during my other posts of this challenge. I hope you like these and please feel free to add your favorite ones in the comments.

I am glad you made it till here. You’re awesome. 😀

  1. East, west, south or north makes little difference. No matter what your destination, just be sure to make every journey a journey within. If you travel within, you’ll travel the whole wide world and beyond ~ the forty rules of love.

This book is one of the master pieces!!

  2. The words that come out of our mouths do not vanish but are perpetually stored in infinite space, and they will come back to us in due time. One man’s pain will hurt us all. One man’s joy will make everyone smile. -the forty rules of love.

  3. Love the quote! One of my absolute favourites. I think, I came across this quote while going through Goodreads. I haven’t read the book, though. And, I will do the challenge, too. 😀 Thanks, buddy! 🙂
