Writer’s block. What is it actually? To be honest I don’t know the correct definition but it’s when you are unable to write or unable to create something artisitic.A quick google helped me clear my doubts.
Writer’s block is a condition, primarily associated with writing, in which an author loses the ability to produce new work or experiences a creative slowdown. The condition ranges in difficulty from coming up with original ideas to being unable to produce a work for years.
What I am going through right now is umm..I have a lot in my mind but I don’t have the words for them.I sit with my diary and pen and try to put it on paper but I just don’t get the words right.I’ve been reading a lot of posts here on wordpress and besides that I just read books hoping this would go away.It has been around 4 days and I’m still to produce a masterpiece(well okay anything at all).
So here is the interesting part,I made a post somewhere here on wordpress and got some recommendations and one of them was writing about Writer’s Block by Jaisal. So here I’m writing about it.And I’m almost done, yeah out of ideas. π
Anyway,I am gonna upload some photo posts soon. And hopefully post something else as well.
I guess all of us experience it at some point in our lives. Maybe we need a break and come refreshed.

Do you make it a habit to write everyday? I have notepads all over my studio, because even one thought can be a start of something bigger. Don’t discount or ignore even one sentence, phrase or word….I often find that these tidbits can come together and form something grand.

Your advice is precious.I used to have a pocket diary and pen with me to note down ideas but I couldn’t keep up with this habit.
Started doing it again since last week.It does help big time.

Hey, I found you through the community pool.
I don’t know if this would be of any help to you but I made a post about blogging ideas. Maybe that will help with your writer’s block.
Here’s the link:

Anyway, if that fails, just do something boring. When I do that, the ideas flood in. Maybe due to boredom, your brain searches for interesting things.
Or, peruse through some of your older posts.
Hope that helps you π
I’ll take a stroll around this blog of yours if you don’t mind.

Try stream of consciousness writing for fifteen minutes where you don’t care what you write, or another one I just heard about was describe the room you are in for THIRTY minutes. It is a crazy amount of time to do it, but it there to help focus your writing on the unique details which should help with the block. Good luck!
