I want to be a writer.

The more I read the more I realize that I have absolutely no talent for writing but here I am trying my hand at it.Let’s see where I end up.I cannot write good and that means that I can’t take people where I want to take them through language,literature.      I’ve been reading lately and realized that I need to read even more and I need to write even more frequently which I don’t really do.Here is what I am going to do,i’ll list some books I recently read and they are in the latest order-

  1. The Unhandsome Prince by John Moore- I completed this book yesterday and I liked it because it was written in a very casual and friendly way,now this is just my view on it but yes the book was a great break from the normal world,and I say this because it has some business with magic stuff and people changing into frogs,I believe you should read this book if you get a chance.It has a light humor to it too.
  1. The Reader by Bernhard Schlink- I read this a week ago and also did a small review on it which was also my first book review ever,I hope you found it good.This book was completely different from “The unhandsome prince”,this was about a young boy getting into a strange relationship with a lady much older than him and it was a page turner I remember saying this in my review.This book explored more serious topics like that of world war and holocaust.It was a great read and one should give it a try before the decision of watching the movie based on this novel is made.

3.A walk in the woods by Bill Bryson- If you are a nature lover,animal lover or even an adventurer than you can absolutely consider reading this great book.Two guys come together and decide to go on trekking and the book covers everything right from the preparation for the trekking till the completion.I should add that it might inspire some readers to even go on a hike/adventure,I myself had this great urge to just pack my bag and go out and explore the wilderness or say the world.This book is a great journey and is sure to make you think about going on an adventure.Suggested for people who like and love nature,animals and adventure.

So these were the latest 3 books I read and they were great and all from different genre and they all somehow made me realized that I need to work hard really hard if I want to write great and connect with people.After much reading and writing I someday maybe able to write a great article,a great book,poem?

The book I am now going to read is Faceless Killers by Henning Mankell,if you’ve read this book then do tell me your views about it.Plus if you(the reader) has read any of the three books I mentioned earlier then feel free to share your thoughts with me and suggest me something good to read.And comment is compulsory for those who want to be writers one day,I just want to know on what level they are.

  1. The original purpose of a journal was to record our personal experiences and feelings and it is only now that people have come to be a lot more public about it. So in blogging, if you believe you are not a writer-writer, no worries. As long as you write coherently, then you’re all good. If you really want to be a writer-writer, though, then practice makes almost-perfect (’cause nothing is ever perfect, heee). Keep on writing and reading.

Speaking of reading, haven’t read any of these books you’ve shared but they sound interesting. The first one sounds like fun. Your brief reviews already tell us what we need to expect 🙂

Oh, if you want to practice more and would like to try, you might to visit the 1001bookreviews.com site, go over their list, and reserve a book to review 😉

    • Yes the world changed and we just merely adapted to it,and everything is more public now which is kind of a good thing, sharing is easy now.

I will keep writing and reading for as long as I can and hopefully it’ll take me perfect(okay, almost perfect). 😉

You should give those books a try if you can, they sure are interesting and yes the first one was fun,I enjoyed every single page of it.

I’ll go to the link you mentioned and try reviewing a book there,Thanks. 🙂
